This adaptor would definitely save the day. With a high quality 3M VHB Adaptor you can convert nearly anything to Garmin mount compatible.

The 3M VHB adhesive will adhere to smooth, non-textured, non-porous surfaces such as plastic and metal. It will not adhere to rubber, silicone, TPU or soft touch coatings. Please ensure the application surface is thoroughly cleaned and dry before applying the adaptor, please wait for 24 hours for maximum adhesion. This is a single use adhesive, and cannot be re-used.
