1kg Vanilla Cake Mix - Jacobs Pastries - Easy Pre-mix

Jacobs Pastries Easy Pre-mixes are fun and super easy to prepare.

Now for 500g of this mix, you will need to add 4 Eggs, 150ml Hot Water, and 150ml oil.

Pre-heat your oven to 200C. If you know your oven better than we do, however, adjust accordingly.
Prepare your baking tray by spraying with a non-stick cooking spray, then lining it with wax paper, and spraying the wax paper again.
Combine the cake mix, eggs, oil and water in a large mixing bowl. Any bowl really, large enough to have space to mix in. At first, mix slowly until all is moist, then increase the speed.
Place inside that hot oven of yours, and bake for about 20 to 30 minutes. Test with a knife by inserting it into the middle of the cake, and when no dough sticks to the blade when it comes out, the cake is ready. Be very careful not to burn yourself here. The oven is very hot!
Now let that cake cool down before frosting it.

Even though this Sponge cake is very soft, you can spray it with some sugar water to make it moist.
