Afghan Turkman Carpet is Double Knotted Handmade fine woolen carpet weaved by Turkman People in the city of Faryab in Afghanistan, This style of carpet is one of the oldest and finest Afghani.

Carpet weaved with Turkish knot on a Horizontal Loom, Turkman carpet of Afghanistan has short pile and Vegetable-dyed Lamb wool being used in it.

This quality of the carpet is one of the most durable Handmade carpets in a variety of designs to name a few are, Bukhara design, Diamond design, Ghaab design and many more and usually is made with red background and a touch of orange color and navy blue.

The fringing of this type is usually dark colors and available in different sizes small and large up to 4x3 meters and from 1.5m runners up to 10 meter long runners.

Please note that sizes can be slightly different than what is mentioned on the website as this carpet is handmade and can be up to 5 cm up or down.
