Huawei FreeBuds 3i Wireless Earphones - White

HUAWEI FreeBuds 3i are wireless stereo earphones consisting of left and right earphones and a charging case and feature an in-ear design for increased comfort when worn. HUAWEI FreeBuds 3i can connect to other devices (such as phones and tablets) using Bluetooth and can be used to make calls and listen to music. The earphones adopt a 10 mm-diameter dynamic driver acoustic design and 3-mic noise reduction to ensure high audio quality during calls. The low power consumption design and charging case provide users with a long battery life.
Functions and Features

1. Dual-channel true wireless stereo, with the left and right earphones working simultaneously

When connected to a Bluetooth device such as a smartphone, the earphones play stereo sound on both channels during voice calls or when playing music. The switch between primary and secondary earphones will be intelligently conducted based on the wearing status and battery levels of earphones in order to improve your audio experience.

A hybrid feed-forward/feedback ANC solution can achieve an average noise cancelling effect of over 24 dB (based on ear canal calibration)

1. Low power consumption, long battery life

The earphones are equipped with a low power consumption Bluetooth chipset to achieve a long battery life. On a single full charge, the earphones can be used to make calls for about 2.5 hours (with ANC off) or 2 hours (with ANC on) or play music for about 3.5 hours (with ANC off) or 3 hours (with ANC on).

1. Triple-microphone noise cancellation during calls

Each earphone has three Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) silicon microphones that support voice call noise cancellation, effectively reducing ambient noise and allowing you to enjoy high-quality voice calls.

1. Wired charging (charging case)

The earphones automatically start charging when stored in the charging case. When the charging case is being charged via the USB Type-C port and the earphones are placed in it, both earphones and the charging case will be charged.

1. Automatic earphone detection and rapid pairing

Phones running EMUI 10.0 (not including lite version) or later will automatically detect the earphones and perform rapid and effortless pairing when the charging case is opened. The phone can also display the battery level of the earphones and charging case.

1. In-ear earphones delivering powerful bass

The product features 10 mm-diameter dynamic drivers with a composite diaphragm and an in-ear earplug design for maximum wear comfort.

1. Intelligent wearing detection

The earphones are able to detect whether they are being worn and can automatically wake themselves up based on this information. When used with phones running EMUI 10.0 or later, they can also play and pause music based on the wearing status.

1. Convenient touch control

With built-in capacitive touch sensors on both earphones, you can double-tap or press and hold an earphone to operate your earphones/phones. The double-tap operation settings can be configured in the AI Life app, or on a phone running EMUI 10.0.1.150 or later.

Huawei conducted tests with a prototype of the HUAWEI FreeBuds 3i and its accompanying software using the HUAWEI P30.
Music playback test method: The earphones were connected to the phone over Bluetooth for music playback in the 256 kbps AAC encoding format with the volume set to 50%. The battery was completely discharged until the music stopped playing from one of the earphones.
Voice call test method: The earphones were connected to a phone over Bluetooth with the volume set to 50%. A voice call was then conducted until the voice could not be heard from one of the earphones.
Battery life may vary depending on device settings and usage habits.

Standby duration outside of the charging case
If your earphones are fully charged and connected to your device over Bluetooth, the batteries have enough power to last 24 hours in Standby mode.
Huawei conducted tests with a prototype of the HUAWEI FreeBuds 3i and its accompanying software using the HUAWEI P30 smartphone. Battery life may vary depending on device settings and usage habits.

Button description
A Pairing button is available:
1. When you use the charging case for the first time, press the Pairing button for 2 seconds to power it on.
2. Open the charging case and leave the earphones inside it. Press and hold the Pairing button for more than 2 seconds to enable Pairing mode for the earphones.
3. Open the charging case and leave the earphones inside it. Press and hold the Pairing button for more than 10 seconds to restore the earphones to their factory settings. This will clear all pairing information.
4. Press and hold the Pairing button for more than 16 seconds to restart the charging case.
