Top Tips
Hot and warm water is not ideal for washing cotton garments as it can cause wear and shrinking. Whenever possible wash cold.
By washing clothing inside out you help to reduce fading of coloured and dark clothing for longer lasting care.
Follow care label instructions on your garments to ensure fabric is protected and washed correctly.
Wash similar colours and fabrics together to help reduce abrasion, fading and colour transfer.
Wash undergarments and other delicate fabrics together in wash bags and on the correct cycle to ensure care and long lasting wear.
Try and clean your washing machine every couple of months or so to prevent grime, odours, and dirt from building up in your machine. And try to clean your lint filter after every drying cycle.
Overloading your machine will prevent adequate washing or drying and cause stress on the unit which can wear down your machine in the long run.
